7bridges is delighted to announce a new partnership with Clinigen Group plc, a global pharmaceutical and services company.

Clinigen Group's mission is "to deliver the right medicine to the right patient at the right time". It is therefore critical to continue to identify ways to develop a world-class logistics capability, by both optimising deliveries to patients and building greater operational resilience.

The agreement with 7bridges was secured following a 2-week proof of concept, using the 7bridges platform to analyse Clinigen’s operations in a 'post-Brexit' world. 7bridges' AI (LEO) was able to identify an opportunity to drive efficiencies by implementing a multi-carrier logistics strategy and  reducing transportation costs through technology-enabled procurement and invoice auditing.

7bridges will now be working with Clinigen to execute on these opportunities by unifying Clinigen’s logistics data and implementing 7bridges’ AI technology to make better supply chain decisions.

Erica Olsen“We're excited to be partnering with 7bridges and using their cutting-edge AI-powered logistics technology. Operational excellence is critical to Clinigen's mission, and the 7bridges platform will help to ensure we continue to offer the best service levels to healthcare professionals around the globe."

Erica Olson, VP Supply Operations

Discussing the partnership, Erica Olson, VP of Supply Chain at Clinigen said; "We're excited to be partnering with 7bridges and using their cutting-edge AI-powered logistics technology. Operational excellence is critical to Clinigen's mission, and the 7bridges platform will help to ensure we continue to offer the best service levels to healthcare professionals around the globe."

Philip Ashton, CEO & Co-Founder of 7bridges said; "Clinigen Group’s mission - making medicines accessible and getting them to healthcare providers and ultimately patients who need them - means they face the logistics complexities associated with cold chain, international health care and trade regulations and highly time sensitive orders.

To do this they need to efficiently manage many logistics service providers, synthesise a lot of varied data sets into information that can inform critical operational decisions, orchestrate activities across many warehouses, suppliers and customer sites, and their customers need them to be resilient to whatever the world throws at their supply chain. That’s why we built the 7bridges platform. I am incredibly excited to see how our data, AI, software and ecosystem will facilitate Clinigen to continue to efficiently execute on such an important mission, and the impact that our technology can have on Clinigen’s continued growth and performance."
