Philipp Plein, one of Europe’s most cutting- edge luxury fashion brands, is expanding its use of 7bridges’ AI driven logistics platform in order save 3-5% through improved invoice auditing, increase the volume of B2C and B2B customers being serviced by the platform and implementing automated export declarations functionality for high value goods.

One of 7bridges’ earliest customers, Philipp Plein has long been an innovator in the luxury fashion space, leveraging their data to elevate their supply chain and bring competitive advantages and deliver a better customer experience. Building on their existing use of the 7bridges platform to serve their customers, implement ship from store, improve their procurement processes and identify opportunities for more cost-effective warehousing, the fashion house has remained forward looking with regards to logistics technology so it can better serve its customers. So far, Philipp Plein has saved more than €2 million a year, running at a 17X ROI saving.

Looking to the future, Philipp Plein recognised the need to further improve efficiency by automating its supply chain. Alongside increasing the number of B2C orders fulfilled by the 7bridges platform, B2B customers will now be served by 7bridges’ functionality, aiming to bring enhanced delivery and logistics performance to more business and end consumers. The fashion house has also identified the need for cost reduction and optimisation in key areas, and is implementing automated export declarations, to ensure faster, cheaper international shipping for its customers. Finally, they can recoup an estimated 3-5% on costs lost to erroneous and disputed invoices.

Our time working with 7bridges has continually opened up new opportunities for us to deliver better quality of service to our customers while still optimising and improving our logistics.” Said Sergey Mityagin, Chief Operations Officer at Philipp Plein “By increasing the number of customers we’re pushing through 7bridges, as well as seizing opportunities for further enhancements around exports and internal auditing, we will be able to create cost savings and efficiencies while still offering enhanced delivery to our customers."

Philip Ashton, CEO at 7bridges added “Philipp Plein have been almost a foundational customer for us, embracing our vision and continually pushing us to be a better partner as we use AI and automation to revolutionise the logistics space. I’m very excited that they’ve committed to delivering further enhancements to their service, which will result in improved customer service alongside new opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies across their operations."
